Billing Policy

A clearer billing and payments policy for Meetzo premium memberships.

This policy explains how Meetzo premium plans, Razorpay checkout, payment verification, refunds, cancellations, and support handling work.

Last updated April 9, 2026

Purpose of this billing policy

This Billing, Payments, and Refund Policy explains how Meetzo presents premium plans, processes payments, verifies successful transactions, and handles cancellations or refund-related requests. It should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

This page is designed to answer practical questions before and after checkout so users understand what they are paying for, what provider may process the payment, and what happens if a transaction fails, is interrupted, or requires support review.

Premium plans and what they unlock

  • Meetzo may offer monthly or yearly premium memberships.
  • Premium access may unlock advanced matching filters, stronger reporting tools, priority-style queue handling, or related account controls described inside the product at the time of purchase.
  • Features, limits, and included controls may evolve over time as the product changes, but the checkout flow should clearly show the plan currently being purchased.
  • If a feature is experimental, region-limited, or browser-dependent, Meetzo may note that in the product or support materials.

Payment processor and Razorpay

Meetzo may use Razorpay or a comparable payment service provider to create secure payment orders, display checkout interfaces, confirm transaction status, and return payment identifiers needed for membership activation.

When Razorpay is used, your card, UPI, wallet, banking, or other supported payment details are handled through the payment provider's secure flow rather than being stored directly by Meetzo. Meetzo may still receive transaction metadata such as order identifiers, payment identifiers, currency, amount, status, and timestamps for billing operations, support, fraud prevention, and compliance.

Where Razorpay or another provider applies its own customer-facing terms, privacy notice, dispute handling rules, or supported payment-method requirements, those provider terms may also apply to the transaction.

How checkout works

  • When you select a premium plan, Meetzo generates a payment order associated with your account and the selected plan.
  • The checkout window should display the plan amount, currency, and provider workflow before payment is finalized.
  • After a successful payment attempt, Meetzo verifies the provider response before activating premium access.
  • If payment is authorized but the account does not update immediately, Meetzo may need a short delay or support review to reconcile the order safely.

Transaction verification and account activation

Meetzo uses payment verification logic to confirm that the order, payment identifier, and provider signature or equivalent confirmation are valid before activating premium status. This helps reduce fraud, duplicate activation, and accidental mismatches between accounts.

In some cases, activation may temporarily remain pending if the network was interrupted, the provider callback was delayed, or the browser window was closed too early. If that happens, contact support and include the order id, payment id, account email, and plan selected so we can investigate.

Currencies, taxes, and pricing display

Prices are displayed in the currency shown inside the Meetzo product at the time of checkout. Taxes, levies, platform fees, banking charges, conversion costs, or regional payment surcharges may depend on the payment method, issuing bank, jurisdiction, or provider requirements.

Where tax or fee treatment varies by region, the amount shown in the checkout flow is the amount that should control unless applicable law requires otherwise. Currency conversion or foreign transaction fees charged by your bank or wallet provider are generally outside Meetzo's control.

Renewals, duration, and cancellation expectations

If a premium plan is one-time or prepaid for a fixed duration, access should remain active for the stated plan period unless the account is suspended for policy violations or a payment is reversed.

If recurring billing is introduced or enabled in the future, Meetzo aims to describe that clearly at checkout and provide a practical way to manage or cancel the subscription before the next charge where the provider supports it.

If your plan does not renew automatically, buying premium again creates a new paid access period rather than extending a hidden subscription.

Refunds and non-delivery situations

Refund availability may depend on applicable law, payment-provider rules, the type of plan purchased, whether premium benefits were delivered, and whether a payment was reversed or disputed.

Meetzo may consider refunds, credits, or corrective action where a technical issue caused a charge without successful activation, where duplicate charges occurred, or where law requires a refund right. We may decline refund requests where premium access was correctly delivered and materially used, subject to applicable consumer law.

  • If you believe you were charged twice, contact support with both order ids or payment ids.
  • If checkout succeeded but premium did not activate, contact support before filing a chargeback if possible so we can attempt a faster correction.
  • If a bank reversal, payment dispute, or chargeback occurs, premium status may be suspended while the issue is reviewed.

Failed, blocked, or abandoned payments

A payment may fail or remain incomplete for many reasons, including insufficient funds, provider-side risk checks, invalid payment details, expired methods, bank declines, browser interruptions, security settings, or temporary network issues.

Meetzo does not control every decline decision made by the payment provider, bank, or wallet. If a payment fails, you can usually retry with another supported method or contact the relevant provider for more detail.

Fraud prevention and abuse controls

Meetzo may delay, decline, reverse, or review suspicious transactions where needed to protect users, prevent abuse, respond to chargeback risk, or comply with legal obligations. Signals may include inconsistent account behavior, repeated failed attempts, provider risk responses, or moderation concerns tied to the account.

We may also limit premium activation on accounts that are suspended, under active enforcement review, or associated with verified fraud, payment abuse, or ban evasion.

Data associated with billing

Meetzo may keep limited billing records such as plan id, order id, payment id, amount, currency, timestamps, premium status, and support correspondence related to the transaction. We use these records to verify payments, answer support requests, maintain financial controls, and investigate disputes or abuse.

For more detail about how transaction-related data is handled, read our Privacy Policy.

Support and escalation path

  • For billing help, email support@meetzo.online.
  • For privacy questions related to transaction data, email privacy@meetzo.online.
  • Include the account email, plan selected, order id, payment id, date of payment, and a short explanation of the issue.
  • Do not send full card numbers, CVV values, banking passwords, OTP codes, or other unnecessary financial secrets to support.

Changes to this policy

Meetzo may update this policy when premium features, providers, regions, renewal structures, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of the policy reflects the latest published revision.

Material changes should be reflected in the checkout flow, product settings, or this page before they are relied on for future purchases.
